Hospitality Coordinator

Delores Clark

Growing up in Jamaica, I developed a deep passion for helping others and caring for those around me. From a young age, I learned the importance of community, compassion, and looking out for one another. As a Christian, my faith guides every aspect of my life, and my mission has always been to serve others with love, kindness, and understanding.

In the workplace, my coworkers affectionately call me “Grandmom”—not because of my age, but because of the role I naturally take on. Like a grandmother who watches over her grandchildren, I make sure people are cared for. I remind them to take lunch breaks, check in on their well-being, and provide a safe and welcoming space where they can share their concerns, struggles, or joys. Everyone knows that they can always come to Grandmom’s office for support, encouragement, and guidance.

Being a member of IJWTS has allowed me to broaden my horizons and strengthen my ability to serve others beyond my immediate circle. Through this organization, I have been able to connect with like-minded women who share a passion for uplifting the community and making a meaningful difference in the lives of others.

I joined the IJWTS women’s group because its mission aligns so closely with my own values and beliefs. The strong sense of sisterhood, service, and faith within the group inspires me, and it gives me the opportunity to continue doing what I love most—helping others, building community, and serving with purpose and compassion.
